Low Self-esteem

This space is dedicated to all those girls who for some reason you feel you are not pretty.

Are you feeling this way?
No matter whatever the reason you are beautiful inside and out. Do not let anyone offend you, you own you and only you control your life. On page MayoClinic.com defined as low self-esteem: Self-esteem is your overall review of yourself - how you honestly feel About Your Abilities and limitations. When you have healthy self-esteem, you feel good about yourself and see yourself as deserving the Respect of Others. When you self-esteem Have low, you put little value on your Opinions and ideas. You might constantly worry that you are not "good enough."

According to this site it has to do with:

The responsibility is not taught with shouts or force.
  • Your own thoughts and Perceptions
  • How other people react to you
  • Experiences at school, work and in the community
  • Illness, injury or disability
  • Culture
  • Religion
  • Role and status in society

No matter your reason, but the decision in your hands! Break the cycle and feel safe for your actions and your beauty. An exercise you can do is: Start by listing your trigger Clearly Situations first and be really clear About Them.  Is the trigger:

  • A place
  • A task
  • A person
  • A combination of all three

Is there one situation you do manage to muddle through?
Is there another you cannot Thinking about facing events?   Try to arrange them in order.

Now ask yourself:

  • What Is It That you are expecting?
  • Why does this affect you so badly?
  • What Happens when you are experiencing anxiety?
  • Are you more aware of racing thoughts of disaster or of physical sensations?
  • Actually what happens in the situation?
  • Are you always right to expect the worst?
  • How often do you just WITHDRAW?
  • What are you doing as a result not and how much does This Contribute to your depression?

Try not to make this a list of your failings and include challenging life Situations that you do Deal with How They Differ and note from the apologetic situations.

All this is because I was listening to the lyrics of Pink Fucking Perfect.  These songs have a positive message towards women. Where the chorus of the song says:
Pretty, pretty please
Don’t you ever feel?
Like you're less than
Fucking perfect

Pretty, pretty please
If you ever, ever feel
Like you're nothing
You're fucking perfect to me

You're perfect, you're perfect

Do not believe me then watch the video and pay attention to the message:

A True about Hot Chilli Peppers

Did you know that you can actually stop a heart attack in its tracts with the simple but amazing and awesome power of cayenne pepper? It's true.

Studies show hot peppers may prevent blood clots and heart disease by increasing blood flow. It's all due to Capsaicin, the natural chemical that puts the "Hot" in hot peppers.

Because of its' unique thermal heat action, capsaicin also increases metabolic activity promoting natural weight loss.

Many herbalists believe that Cayenne is the most useful and valuable herb in the herb kingdom, not only for the entire digestive system, but also for the heart and circulatory system. It acts as a catalyst and increases the effectiveness of other herbs when used with them. Cayenne is a medicinal and nutritional herb. It is a very high source of Vitamins A & C, has the complete B complexes, and is very rich in organic calcium and potassium, which is one of the reasons it is good for the heart.

Susie Langley, a registered dietitian based in Toronto, loves to spice up meals with small amounts of hot chilies. She developed the following three recipes for Best Health readers, to help bring some healthy heat to your meals:

• Hot Chili Chocolate
• Chicken Curry with Chili Peppers
• Chili Pepper Oil

Hot chilli peppers could provide protection against heart problems. Capsaicinoids, which put the heat into capsaicin, jalapenos, habaneros, cayenne and other peppers, helps keeps hearts healthy in two vital ways.

They cut cholesterol levels and quicken its breakdown via excretion as well as blocking a gene that contracts arteries and lessens blood flow to the heart, so causing more blood to travel through vessels.

So, when Granny says:

Free of speech by Sue Rivera

First watch the next video and meanwhile identify with one of the  characters.
Ask yourself which one is correct?

The free of speech is a constitutional right for everyone and is tied to responsibilities for example:

  • Respect for the rights pr reputations of others
  • Protection of national security, public order, health or public morals.
All in all everyone has the free of speech.

"I will respect your views if you can justify them. But if you justify your views only by saying you have faith in them, I shall not respect them".-Richard Dawkins

People with Success by Sue Rivera

People with success is something that is going to depend on what you espect from live and what goals you have .

At the free dictionary says that success is  the achievement of something desired, planned, or attempted.  Knowing the meaning of the word now we can talk a little bit more of success.  First of all, there different kinds of goal for reach our success; there's short-terms, personal goals and long-terms goals. All three together make your own big success in your live.

For example: Your big goal is have that job you desired.

To accomplished this goal first you had to study a carrier that goes in relation with. Second you have to graduate and get some experience for then applied to the job.  As we can see we have to dived in sub-goals for reached the big goal.

Every little step helps you to reach our goal, even if you fail in the attempt is a unique experience that will serve as a guide for moving forward.

So remember for your success you need to:

  • Set a goal
  • be focused
  • a reason
  • have passion in reason
  • and at last go for it,

But keep on mind that maybe some obstacles is your choice to beat them or not.

Health & Nutrition: you are what you eat by Sue Rivera

Hard decision: eat healthy or junk food. Choose one but, remember you are what you eat!

In this time I’m using me as an example. Back in time I used to weigh 212 lbs, the reason? I don’t eat properly, I was not drinking enough water, and I didn’t rest or do exercises. To complete the bad panorama my meal (those that I used eat) were high in fats, sugars and carbohydrates.

This is a lifestyle and the sudden change does not happen overnight. First there must be a motivation (why you want to do) and believe in you. Second there must be angels (people) to help you and motivate you (you will need them). Third, start from scratch and make a commitment to yourself, your health, your image but above all to see on that goal (motivation). With this in mind and living day to day I changes from junk food to healthy meals.

According to Medline food provides the energy and nutrients you need to be healthy. Nutrients include proteins, carbohydrates, fats, vitamins, minerals and water. And Health it is the general condition of a person's mind, body and spirit, usually meaning to be free from illness, injury or pain (as in “good health” or “healthy”).

So knowing all this I decided to:  1) Do 6 meals   2) drink more water and fewer sodas   3) start exercise and 4) sleep well.

The results:

Domestic Violence: Taboo for some women by Sue Rivera

Hello!!!  men do you think I'm not gonna talk? Domestic violence is not for me.
Just because you're stronger doesn't mean you can do what ever you want to.

People always talk about domestic violence and see it as a mental illness, jealousy, pressure, so on, but what we are doing  to stop it.  It's funny how we talk ourselves in group of the problem and give opinions as how we would solve the situation.  Even we say "if I were her I wouldn’t allowed him to raise his voice at me." The truth of the matter is that when you're in those shoes do not know what to do just because you love him.  Furthermore we start to blame our self for everything.

According to the National Domestic Violence hotline Domestic violence can be defined as a pattern of behavior in any relationship that is used to gain or maintain power and control over an intimate partner. It can be physical, sexual, emotional, economic or psychological actions or threats of actions that influence another person.  This includes any behaviors that frighten, intimidate, terrorize, manipulate, hurt, humiliate, blame, injure or wound someone.  Would you tolerated all this? I don't think so.

Men don’t get me wrong but remember came from a woman and the fact that they are strong does not mean you can abuse.  Furthermore your wife who is reading this remembers that you are a flower and as such should be treated.  All in all you're the only that can stop the abuse.

The Human Brain: by Suzaidy Rivera

Do you imagine your self with out a brain? Can you   Imagine not being able to feel or walk or perceive?  And you can imagine  us unable to breathe?

As part of my english class I need to do some essays and as  a Nurse I choose first the theme of the brain. People think that the heart is the most important organ of the body I believe not. It's true we need our heart and our lungs and other organs, buy without a brain we're nothing.  Let me explain: why?

According to The National Geographic: The brain is the organ that makes us human, giving people the capacity for art, language, moral judgments, and rational thought.  It's also responsible for each individual's personality, memories, movements, and how we sense the world.  In other words is our central command.

Do you ever ask yourself: How much weighs the brain at birth? Or when it gets his full size?
Well, as a matter of fact, at birth it only weighs less than a pound (0.78-0.88 pounds or 350-400 g). As a child grows, the number of cell remains relatively stable, but the cells grow in size and the number of connections increases. The human brain reaches its full size at about 6 years of age according to Enchanted Learning, 2001-2010.

It’s so delicate as complex.  Why? It is delicate because once the tissue dies don't regenerate. This means that you will suffer the language, thoughts, memories, senses, and so on. The complexity of this organ arises from the nature of the unit that draws its operation: the neuron. These are connected by means of long protoplasmic fibers called axons, which transmit signal pulse trains called action potentials to distant parts of the brain or body by placing them in specific receptor cells.
Don't believe it? well check out this video: Mean wile think about what you know?, What do you don't believe?  Do you think is really powerful? and at least tell me which organ you think is more powerful and why? or do you agree with me.
